Our Story
My name is Cary, and in August 2023, I was diagnosed with Stage 1 Invasive Ductal Carcinoma, triple positive. My journey included a double mastectomy, complications, 12 rounds of chemo, blood clots, and many physical and emotional hurdles.
Today, I am cancer-free, but healing is still part of my story.
I created Breasties to shine a light on the real, raw, and powerful experiences of those navigating breast cancer or any difficult life chapter. I wanted to build the kind of space people deserve when they are moving through fear, uncertainty, treatment, recovery, or life after cancer.
At Breasties, we believe healing is more than a medical journey. It is emotional, physical, and spiritual, too. Whether you are a patient, survivor, or supporter, you deserve a safe place to be seen, heard, and understood.
